Moving Day is centered around movement and exercise — both of which are proven to help manage symptoms of Parkinson’s. Parkinson’s Disease affects nearly one million Americans and is characterized by a progressive loss of motor control. There is no cure.

Black people diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease face health disparities, lack of resources and less access to care and research opportunities. The Parkinson’s Foundation raises awareness to this disparity to make health care more accessible to all.
