Parkinson’s UK says the group has been running for nearly 25 years and is popular with people affected by the condition, and their carers.
But the charity warns that more help is urgently needed.
Members meet several times a month at Keighley Healthy Living, in Scott Street.
Clare Root, for Parkinson’s UK, says: “Accessing local activities is a real lifeline for people with Parkinson’s. But unless new volunteers step forward, people could be left without the support they need.
“If you can spare a few hours a month, we’d love to welcome you to volunteer alongside our amazing team. With extra support, we really can change lives.
“As well as ensuring the smooth running of meetings, group volunteers welcome and befriend members while gaining knowledge of how Parkinson’s affects their lives. They will also provide admin support and can get involved in booking speakers, planning outings and fundraising.
“The volunteer roles are flexible and make a big impact, ensuring that people with Parkinson’s can access activities and information.”
