Sharon Osbourne has revealed she and husband Ozzy have returned to the UK, as he continues to battle Parkinson’s disease.
The 71-year-old said her home of 20 years in LA has changed and it no longer feels the way it did previously.
She said on Woman’s Hour podcast: “LA has changed but not for the better.
“I feel uncomfortable there now. My family will still be there so we will go back and forth I’m sure, but our main place – we have switched it from being LA to England.”
Ozzy revealed he had Parkinson’s back in 2020, and now Sharon has admitted that his illness is the reason for the big move.
She continued: “A lot of is it for Ozzy to be able to live with some privacy. We have a lot of land so he will be able to pursue his hobbies without being bothered.”
The former X Factor judge said their UK residence has “always been home,” after they returned back to their original home before the LA move 20 years ago.
The mum-of-three recently opened up about the impact 74-year-old Ozzy’s failing health has had on their marriage.
The pair first met due to Sharon’s dad Don Arden managing Ozzy’s band, Black Sabbath, and have now been married for 41 years.
The couple share three children, Aimee, 40, Kelly, 39, and Jack, 38.
In 2019, the punk-rocker had a fall in his home and damaged his spine which resulted in the musician undergoing multiple surgeries.
Despite going public with his illness in 2020, Ozzy was actually first diagnosed with the disease back in 2003.
When asked if the pair were over the hard times, Sharon told Metro: “No, because I look at my husband’s illness and how it changed our lives.
“It’s been a very, very tough five years. The pain is getting better but it’s devastating watching someone you love be sick for so long.”
The television personality added that she tries to spend more time with her husband, but he gets fed up with her telling him what to do.
