The retired actor has moved quite a lot throughout his career. Despite which, he enjoys quality time with his family in his New York home. Since marrying his wife, Tracy Pollan, they have focused on living a great life with their four kids, Sam, Aquinnah, Schuyler, and Esmé.
According to multiple outlets, they bought the six-bedroom residence in Quogue, New York for $6.3 million in 2008, featuring a library, wine cellar, and one acre of land. However, the pair sold the property for $6.1 million in 2021.

“We did an interesting thing. We sold our house and we went to Santa Barbara for a couple of months. We’re going to go to Malibu later this year and hang out. We don’t have anybody to pick up at school!”

Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s Diagnosis Was Secret for Years!
The retired actor, who remains away from the public eye, was at the peak of his stardom when he faced health challenges in the early 1990s. As per the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Fox developed a tremor in his pinky finger while working on Doc Hollywood. However, a neurologist diagnosed him with “young-onset Parkinson’s disease (PD)” at the age of 29.
He kept his diagnosis under wraps and continued to appear on several projects before eventually revealing it in 1998. He officially announced his retirement in 2020 due to his declining health.
As per the Hollywood Reporter, the actor stated in his memoir, No Time Like the Future: An Optimist Considers Mortality,
“There is a time for everything, and my time of putting in a 12-hour workday, and memorizing seven pages of dialogue, is best behind me … I enter a second retirement. That could change, because everything changes. But if this is the end of my acting career, so be it.”
While the personality has taken a step back from acting, he is open to returning to the glam world once again. However, that step requires a certain condition that he wants to be fulfilled, which makes more sense, given that he enjoys his work to its core.
