Featuring works by artists Frank Bowling, Bouke de Vries and Rana Begum, acclaimed selling exhibition Cure³ will be returning for a fifth edition in 2025 to raise funds and awareness for Cure Parkinson’s.
Devised by Artwise and in partnership with Bonhams, Cure³ is a contemporary art fundraising exhibition created to support Cure Parkinson’s vital research.
The fifth edition of Cure³ will feature artworks from over 100 artists, plus 10 generative artists minting NFTs. The selling exhibition will take place at Bonhams London, with a VIP preview on 3 February and public viewing from 1 to 5 February.
The concept of Cure3 was inspired by Cure Parkinson’s late co-founder Tom Isaacs who described living with Parkinson’s as feeling like being “boxed in”, and so the artists are invited to create original artwork using a 20cm³ Perspex box (which can act as frame, plinth or container). Alternatively, since the fourth edition of the exhibition in 2023, artists can create their piece using a two-dimensional 20cm x 20cm canvas. For the generative artists, their original work will be digital.
Since its inception in 2017, Cure3 has been supported by 214 artists and raised almost £2million. All profits from Cure3 help to fund Cure Parkinson’s vital research seeking to slow, stop or reverse Parkinson’s; the fastest growing neurological condition in the world, which affects around 8.5 million people globally.
It has been incredible to see this event grow and develop since it was first conceived in 2017, and that is down to the hard work and dedication of every person involved, particularly the generous support of the contributing artists without whom the event would not be possible.”
Helen Matthews, CEO Cure Parkinson’s
